Supplies To Make friendly Halloween Ornaments

I purchased the kits from dollar store but you can purchase the material separately. Remember you can use foam sheets to make your own creatures for Halloween.

1. Craft Foam (in colors like blue, green, orange, purple)or Halloween Ornaments kits.

2. Googly Eyes (for adding personality to the sea creatures)

3. Pipe Cleaners (for tentacles, fins, or details like seaweed)

4. Markers and Crayons (for drawing details like scales or patterns)

5. Glue or Glue Sticks (safe and easy for kids to use)

6. String or Ribbon (for hanging the ornaments)

7. Hole Punch (for adding holes to string the ornaments)

8. Colorful Battery operated lights.

How To Make Kid Friendly Halloween Ornaments

(For the tree I used a branch I found in my back yard. I added battery operated lights that I found at the Dollar Tree.

  1. The kits come with foam shapes of fish, ghosts and pumpkins

2. Lay out the foam pieces on a clean table.

3. With Elmers glue or a glue stick position the pieces of different color fish arms and fin on the main fish body.

In this kits the foam shape came with Halloween pumpkin faces. If your shapes don’t have faces you can draw a Halloween face using a magic marker.

4. Glue the ribbon on the tip of the fish or you can use a punch hole to tie the ribbon.

You can use a small tree such as a Christmas tree or I used a branch I found in my back yard.
