I have been doing lots of posts on home decor projects and tours of my home. I thought I’d utilize this post to be a mixture of both. One of my home decor projects post was the curb appeal challenge, where I redecorated my entryway. To the left of the entryway, there’s covered walkway that connects the garage to the inside of my house.
My husband and I planted some extra saw palmetto plants around the stepping stones to give it more color. Fun fact: the outdoor space was designed specifically to survive bad weather. The side door leads into my office/craft area and laundry room, then down a hall to the pantry/kitchen area.
From the kitchen and living room area, there are two doors that lead into the screened-in porch. It’s my favorite place because it is peaceful and close to nature. There are two additional doors that lead to the outside backyard. We created paths that lead to a patio area toward the back of our property. That was the scene to another decor challenge called Summer Garden and Patio Spaces. The patio is a fun space, and great for entertaining friends and family. The path leads to the back to my home, where there is a fire pit. We love to hang there during the cooler months and make smores! My husband and I designed the fire pit so that it would blend with the landscaping and paths.
I would like to thank Meg from Green with Decor for organizing such a fabulous home tour. Please stop by and visit the other gals on this home tour.
