How To Create An Eclectic Outdoor Summer Space

garden challenge 2

First, I would like to thank my lovely friend, Tara, for organizing such a wonderful Summer Garden and Outdoor Space Tour. I have always loved the summer, with all the time I get to spend outdoors. Down south, the humidity and heat can sometimes be unbearable, but the evenings are always wonderful! I am excited to be decorating my backyard with some Moroccan-inspired and vintage pieces.

I wanted to mix a variety of different styles for my outdoor space to create an eclectic look. I used bohemian fabrics for the pillows and vintage pieces for accents. Notice the plants are held in my antique dairy can!

The tea set is vintage from the 1960s. My parents brought it back after their travels to Mexico City. They came back with a ton of pottery, and this set was what my mom gave me. It’s so beautiful, and I cherish it!

All 9 pillows are made by me. The more pillows I make, the easier I find they are to create. Here’s the tutorial I used for the pillows, which was also from the One Room Challenge.
