Stain Glass Inspired Christmas Tree Ornament
Stain glass Christmas tree ornament are made with stain glass patterns that are decoupaged onto a porcelain ornament. The stain glass patterns I chose were mountains scene. They are beautiful and rustic ornaments depicting how magical the mountains are.

What is Stain Glass Pattern
I used a decoupage paper pattern of the mountains in rich colors of the reds, green, yellow and blue for sunset and sunrise. They give the illusion of real stain glass art. The paper is decoupaged onto a clean porcelain ornament.
What Are The Best Glue To Use
There are many types of glue. My favorite is Modpodge and Americana Decoupage glue

Supplies To Make
- String Thin gold string or thin ribbon.
- Stain glass of mountain Decoupage paper.
How To Make Stain glass Christmas Tree Ornament
- Place the porcelain ornament on the stain glass mountain paper. Trace with pencil around ornaments. Cut the shape out.
2. Apply glue on the porcelain ornament. Place the cut out shape on the ornament applying pressure lightly to smooth the bubbles out.
3. After you have smoothed out bubbles apply another coat of glue over the stain glass design. Carefully smooth out the glue and let dry.
4. Punch out the hole using a paper clip through the decoupaged paper to make room for the string.
I am super excited the way the stain glass ornaments turned out. I made some for the tables to use as coasters.
