How These Cleaning tips can motivated you to stay healthy.

Over the holiday season, my goal was to stay as proactive in preventing myself from getting sick. By the time December rolled in I was pretty happy that I was sick free.

I usually feel positive about my health due to my cleaning routine & habit of taking Emergen-C Immune+® Super Orange Gummies.* I love Emergen-C Immune+® supports your immune system with the key nutrients your body needs, such as Vitamin D and Zinc. Even more, every Emergen-C Immune+® formula is packed with Vitamin C.*

In case I do get sick, I keep a few products on hand.

Lipton Teas

  • The Lipton Wellness range, made with carefully selected botanicals and blended with essential oils, helps make wellbeing a part of my everyday routine. Lipton Bedtime Bliss Tea is great for nighttime. I even find it calming during the day.

Abreva:

  • I tend to get cold sores so I use Abreva® Pump Cold Sore and Fever Blister Treatment at the first sign of a cold sore. For me, it definitely helped me feel better.

Robitussin

  • I had a slight cough after my short cold and New! Robitussin® Honey Cough +Chest Congestions DM  helped me feel better. It has the real honey you want, the powerful cough relief you need. Gluten-Free. No Artificial Colors. True Source Certified Honey.

Theraflu

  • I haven’t had to use Theraflu this past cold season, but I have used it in the past and it helps to treat the symptoms of my flu. The new Theraflu Power Pods Daytime Severe Cold fits right in my routine. It’s compatible with most single-serve coffee makers, these fast-relieving pods work on even your most severe symptoms. (Theraflu Power Pods Daytime Severe Cold and Robitussin® Maximum Strength Honey Cough & Chest Congestion DM should not be used at the same time).

Along with my cleaning supplies, you can find these products at any of your favorite grocery stores or pharmacies.

Cleaning Tips to Help You Stay Healthy.

Cleaning is a necessity that we all have to do. It’s something that many of us dread but it doesn’t have to be. I think to have a healthy life we need to look at cleaning in a different way. Cleaning your space has real benefits to staying healthy and happier. It’s the way you clean and where you clean that can help you stay healthy and avoid the possibility of getting the flu. Studies have shown that dirty and disorganized living space can lead to an unhealthy life.

I bet after you look at cleaning in a different way, it can lead to a healthier life and possibly prevention of the flu. It’s worth a shot to check out these tips.

Step 1: Cleaning with Music

Before you start cleaning, turn on your favorite music and get jiggy with it. It will make the job more fun and music is good for the soul, it’s a win-win.

Step 2: Clean with microfiber products.

Pull out a microfiber cleaning cloth the next time you clean, they are magnets for picking up dust. They can actually pick up bacteria when cleaning.

Step 3: Cleaning to stay in shape.

Instead of going for a jog or bike ride. Go up and down the stairs dusting the stairwell with a microfiber duster. Not a bad way to get your heart rate up. The other benefit you are picking up bacteria that otherwise can possibly make you sick.

Step 4: Dust specifics areas.

If you suffer from some allergies like me. Dust everywhere you spend most of your time. This can help you breathe easier and sleep better.

Step 5: Drink your favorite beverage to stay hydrated.

No matter if you are working out at the gym or cleaning, stay hydrated with water, your favorite beverage or a cup of tea. Combine it with an Emergen-C Immune+® Super Orange Gummies

Step 6: Do one load of laundry a day:

Laundry is not my favorite thing to do. There is obviously bacteria in our dirty clothes. If at all possible do one load of laundry a day for better cleaning. Try to get the family involved. I was able to train my husband and son to do their own laundry which has made a huge difference and less work for me.

Step 7: Use a timer to clean something daily.

My favorite tool to clean is my timer. Cleaning doesn’t have to be an all-day chore. I set my iPhone timer for 25 minutes in the morning to clean and 25 minutes in the afternoon. If you only have time to clean in the morning then that’s fine too.

Keep in mind that having a clean environment and having the proper cold medicines can only help you stay healthy.

Theraflu is a wonder product when I get really sick ~ I tend to go right from a severe cold/flu into broncitis/pneumonia.
