As my year came to an end, I welcomed 2016 with open arms. What better way to welcome the New Year with flowers. For me flowers are a gift that keeps on giving. They “create memories that can last forever”, in the sense that they are usually tied to a special occasion.
To celebrate the New Year I am excited to be collaborating with FTD on unique ways to beautify the entryway with a floral arrangement.
Nothing like fresh and colorful florals in the entry way to brighten up the home. Here are 4 different floral variations I did below for our entryway. The arrangement I used was this gorgeous arrangement by Vera Wang. The bouquet has lavender roses, blue iris, white traditional daisies, purple statice and lush green. The bouquet colors were the perfect juxtaposition to my entryway.
1.On a circular table
2. On the piano!
My husband and daughter love to play the piano during the holidays. So music is a big part of our lives. For 2016 I’m adding flowers on the piano to inspire more of those tunes all year around. Hopefully these flowers will be the inspiration for more music. 🙂
3. On a table right when you walk in
I love roses. The main colors in my home are white, beige and green, so this amazing lavender color shines amidst those colors. Nothing beats the aroma of fresh roses. I think flowers have healing powers and it’s great to have them around to relax after the hectic holiday. So placing these arrangement in the entryway is the ideal location.
4. On a bookshelf
Vera Wang is an amazing designer. What better way to get inspired for a new wardrobe for the spring then with these bright sophisticated colors from her FTD Floral collection. Look beyond ways to get inspired and decorate with flowers in your home and change it up. Placing your arrangements in different areas is inspiring and fun!
