For the venue we pick Belfair Plantation which is a beautiful lowcountry property. It was perfect for what my daughter was looking for. She wanted water views in the background and this venue had this and the most important it was available. Since some of these venues have a 1 year waiting list.

2. Location of the wedding
My daughter wanted the wedding outdoors. Having nature as the background creates beautiful scenery which means if you are on a budget less is spent on wedding decor.

3. Whether to have a tent or not.
If you are worried about the possibility of inclement weather for your outdoor wedding. Consider setting up a tent, its worth the added expense to keep you happy and stress free. The money you save in flowers and decoration by having it outside can be used for renting a tent.
Whether it’s a small or big wedding the flexibility of having unlimited space does make it less stressful. If you plan on having a large guest list, the open air and the outdoor venue makes it easy for people to move around.
The guest list for Leanna’s wedding was 100 people, this is considered a medium size wedding. She wanted to have no tent which makes it a gamble with the weather but in case of rain we did have the option of bringing the wedding inside their club house. We did same money by doing it this way.
With the help of a lighting company she had them set up a lighting all over the tables in a tent like design.
