How To Set Up Cantilever Outdoor PAtio Umbrella
If you recently purchased an outdoor umbrella and found that the instructions are impossible to understand. Here is a easy guide on how to set up a cantilever outdoor patio umbrella in 6 easy steps.
HOW TO SET UP CANTELEVER OUTDOOR PATIO UMBRELLA
I was looking for an OUTDOOR UMBRELLA that would cover the entire area of my patio. There are many kinds of umbrella and sizes. Table, cantilever, wooden, base and push up /lift umbrella. After doing some research I decided I wanted a cantilever umbrella. The biggest part that you must order separately and does not come with the umbrella is a base weights that can be filled with water or sand for those windy days.
Parts of The Cantilever outdoor patio umbrella
Stand: The base of the stand comes in two parts. Which are attached with screws and a connector.
Crank Lift: The crank lift is easy to insert into a opening on the canopy and pole.
UV Resistent Canopy
2 poles: One pole goes into the stand and the other pole is connected to the canopy which goes into the other pole.
Connecting all the parts of the outdoor patio umbrella
- When you are putting the umbrella together make sure you have all the parts laid out outside. Find a location where you want the umbrella place. I found a space in the corner right by the barbecue area. Since that is where I will be entertaining the most.
2: Put together the stand which comes with a connector. Place stand first on the floor, insert the pole that is not connected to the canopy in the stand.
3.: Take the weights and fill with water or sand.
4: Place the weights inside the stand, they will fit perfectly.
5. Inset the canopy pole, and make sure the canopy covers the area you are sitting. Insert the crank and test out that the canopy is opening up where you want it.
6. The holes along the the poles are to position the canopy the way you want. There are angles or straight across.
I truly love this umbrella, The quality is great and all the parts were intact. It does come with a diagram of parts and where each go, but no descriptions which was my only complaint. I hope this post will help you understand the cantilever more easily.
