Want to to do a easy bedroom update for a big impact without breaking the bank? I did just that! I took my plain old bed and added a bunch of pillows in different textures all in the same color. It’s a total transformation!

Easy Bedroom Update

Easy Bedroom Update For Big Transformation.

I am always trying to budget when it comes to decorating my home. I look for the best way to make the biggest impact for the least amount of money.

How To Make The Most Impact In your Bedroom

Start with a naked bed. Color tends to make a bold statement but for me I felt that color would stick out like a sore thumb. The reason being is that i have alot of white going on along with a fewe accents. I wanted to keep everything a neustral color but make a statement. That is why I went with assorted textured pillows.

I started arranging Euro pillows or you can use regular sleeping pillows. These serve as the anchor for your entire pillow setup. Once you’ve positioned these main pillows, layer in your Queen-sized pillows. These slightly smaller pillows to the arrangement. After placing the Queen-sized pillows, continue to introduce smaller decorative pillows. Play around with different shapes and sizes to achieve a balanced and inviting look.

I personally chose to mix an assortment of pillows, ranging from soft linens to knitted pillow.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with textures and placements until you find just whats right for your space. I am constantly rearranging the pillows and its makes it fun.

Pillows I used For My Bed

Euro Pillow : A Euro pillow is a large, square pillow, typically measuring 26×26 inches, often used for decorative purposes on beds or sofas.

Queen Pillow: A queen pillow usually just means a pillow sized to fit a queen bed it’s longer than a standard pillow but shorter than a king

Boucle Pillow: A bouclé pillow is a decorative pillow covered in bouclé fabrica textured, looped-yarn textile that looks soft, cozy, and slightly nubby.

Shag Pillow: another Textured pillow but very long furry stands.

Throw: I choose to use a large thestured or knitted throw to give my bed a statement. A small throw will not achieve that.

Why Use Multiple Pillows to make Update a Bedroom:

  • Its cheape than getting a new bedroom set.
  • You are creating a visual effect with multplie pillows.
  • Using Beige for my bedroom was the right call. If i were to use color than i would have to buy other pieces that would balance out the room. Since I had the beige things going no need to purchase much more.
