I was really excited to collaborate with Homeyou an online platform for homeowners to get design ideas for your home. The project boho inspired bedroom was a make-over of my daughter’s bedroom in her NYC apartment. Between work & play, she has been hinting that her busy, on-the-go schedule leave her with very little time to decorate her bedroom & keep it organized. So I headed to city and decided to make a combination trip of decorating and spending quality time with her. My daughter has that boho chic look going on. So we decided to stay with the boho inspired look and create a feature wall with boho inspired fabric covered canvas wall art. I felt her free-spirited taste would be reflected best with some bold hues, pretty patterns and organic elements.
Add colorful pocketbooks and vintage clothing.
Sustainable raw material such as baskets are great for storage.

I had some left over fabric to wrap the canvas. Measure enough fabric to cover the canvas so you can staple the fabric on the canvas seams. For a more detail tutorials on how to make the canvasses, pillow and bed runner please check out the article of the NYC bedroom makeover that was featured in Homeyou.
Both Leanna and myself were extremely happy with the outcome. The only caveat we had was where to put her bike. The planning things ahead a time paid off and the 2 tier clothes rack free up wall space. So we had plenty of space on the other side of the room.
