Welcome to My Spring Home Tour. I’m excited about today  linking up with some really talented bloggers for a St Patrick’s Home Tour hosted by Meg from Green with Decor.

A few days ago I was at my local flower shop and bought some really pretty white tulips. They represent two of my favorite colors white and green, prefect for this home tour. I have added the tulips everywhere in the screen porch area, as well as in the kitchen. These are two areas that I do most of my entertaining. Tulips are really easy to care for very similar to roses, just cut the stem at an angle and add cold water with no additives.

SPRING HOME TOUR: Featuring White Tulips

For the last few weeks I have been saving frappuccino bottles and mason jars for my label printables I got free from Blesser House. These labels  have  a cute vintage look. All you have to do is print them out, cut out and glue on bottle. They are quirky in names such as epsom salt or pharmacy, but the font style are very vintage. I love them!

My screen porch is one of my favorite places to entertain. Right now we are still getting tons of pollen floating around on everything from floor to table to couches. It’s very common in the south where there are lots of pine trees. Pollen tends to be light green, so I guess you can say its perfect for St Patrick Day!

For more spring tours be sure to head over to the beautiful homes below. I like to thank Meg for organizing such an inspirational home tour. I hope you all have a wonder St Patrick Day. We are heading hopefully to my daughter place in Miami soon, She is expecting her first baby any time soon. Its a boy and my first grandson. OMG I can’t believe it.

You did, however, remind me that the pollen is on it’s way.. it hasn’t even started in Virginia yet. Ugh! Safe travels! I hope you post pictures of the new little cutie!

Maria, everything looks so fresh, and beautiful! Love the tulips, did you know they are the only flowers that actually “grow” when they are in water? You always inspire…xo Lidy

Thanks Lidy for your kind words! Thats something else that tulips grow in water even after they have been clipped. Hugs Maria

White tulips and jars – simple yet totally effective! That’s my favorite kind of home decor. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for something like that.
