I love decorating with pinwheels for the 4 th of July. The decoration kit I purchased was perfect for making a wreath. I needed two wreath for my front double doors. Their were only few patriotic pinwheels that would make a cute wreath but I needed more so I printed out some stripes and star printables and created my own to fill the gaps. You can do so many cute ideas with these printables. I truly love them. I made a cute lantern with them. Check out the DIY here.

Supplies

  • July 4th decorations: I purchased a kit through amazon and used the pinwheel for the wreath. The rest can be used for decorating my home.
  • Wreath form: I only had one wreath form and I needed two so I made one with a cardboard box. Use the wreath you already have as a form to trace on the cardboard. Cut it out.
  • Ribbon: 2 -24 inch piece of ribbon in blue or red.
  • scissors

Lay out the wreath forms and start glueing one pinwheel at a time starting with the large one.

Add 3 small pinwheels below the large ones. Since I don’t have enough here is how I made them. You can make one in red stripe and another in the blue star
