July 4th Mason Jar Lanterns
July 4th holiday is one of my favorite times to enjoy outdoor summer parties. What better way to enjoy them is with these mason jar lanterns.

Mason Jar Lanterns
Do you have any patriotic craft ideas this year. We’ll here is a cute idea you can use for your outdoor parties. Mason Jar Lanterns.
Mason jars are so much fun for making crafts. When I found these star and stripped printable. I thought it be fun to create these July 4th lanterns. I used three mason jars in different sizes. I added a candle in each one.
Supplies
- Mason jars (You can use your old mason jars or purchase though amazon.)
- Candles (Small to medium candles will fit inside the mason jar.)
- Printables: (Here is the star and striped printables you can print.)
- Tape: (Scotch tape is the best kind to tape it on the jars.)

How To Make The Mason Jar Lanterns
The first things you will need are three clean mason jars. I picked three different sizes for these lanterns. The variety in sizes will look great lighted up.

Print out the striped and star printable. Cut the printable to fit the mason jars. Tape the printable around the jars. The larger jar you may need two printables.

You can add any size candle as you like. I placed several fragrance lavender candles inside the jars. I love how they turned out. They can be places on your counter for a lovely lighting and the smell from the lavender candles made it even more special.

Here is another idea, use the mason jars as a pretty centerpiece filled with flowers. I added my garden hydrangeas which gave them a whole new look but still festive.
