How To Make A Festive Lemon Wreath For Any Occasion

In my opinion, holiday wreath has lots of possibilities for creativity. If you like you can go traditional with red bows, colorful ornaments, and pinecones. I not so much the traditionalist and try to create something that can be used all year long. I was inspired this year to make a lemon wreath with lots of eucalypti. I was inspired by Italy Capri, where I am heading in a few weeks. If you have ever been to Capri there are lemon everywhere. To make it more festive I added a Black and White bow. Learn how to make a festive lemon wreath.

You can buy this wreath if you like on my Etsy Store.

Here is how you can make this Festive lemon wreath that can be used all year round.

  • Lemons
  • 16-inch twig wreath
  • Floral wire
  • Glue gun
  • Eucalyptus leaves
  • Holly berries
  • Ribbon

Step 1: Take the eucalyptus stem and snip the ends with a clipper and add some glue to the ends and stick inside the twig wreath. Continue doing this until the entire wreath is filled with the eucalyptus stems

Step 2: After you have inserted all the eucalyptus stems around the twig wreath. Check areas that need more leaves. Snip some leaves off the leftover eucalyptus stems and add floral wire around the end of the stem on the leaf. Insert the wire in the areas that need more leaves. You want the wreath to be full.

Step 4: Insert the lemons about 4 to 5 inches apart from each other. I calculated 7 lemons around the wreath. Make sure all the lemons have the same spacing from each other.  I used lemons that have a long stem attached to the wreath. This is so much easier to insert them into the twig wreath.

Step 5: Add a pretty bow. This part you can pretty much use any color ribbon for this wreath. I choose a black and white ribbon which I think is perfect for the fall and holidays. I think basically any color will go with this lemon wreath. Here is a good post on how to create a bow easily.
