COMO ITALY

Hi, I wanted to share my photos from our trip to Italy. It’s the first time in 2 weeks that I have posted. It was an amazing family vacation. This is a view from a small boutique hotel we passed when biking along the Lake Como area….beautiful.

This is a view from our lovely hotel window,  we stayed the first few days in Como with out the family. Como is the biggest city in the in the lake region,  lots to do. This a picture of there Duomo which means church. Everything is picture perfect or almost as if it was painted on a canvas.

Lake Como is near the Swiss border, so some of the food and architecture have a Swiss vibe to it, here in the city square one of the building resembles a chalet.

Most of the architecture in Como is very colorful, hues of peach, turquoise, and blues.

Festive and fashionable storefronts. (my favorite)

The colorful dress and jacket in the storefront is made by a local designer, I now have it in my wardrobe:)

Lots of bikes everywhere, we rented two bikes for our stay in Como and biked everywhere.

  4. I am in love with Italy. We visited Tuscany twice and saw some of north western Italy but never the lakes. My husbands family is from an area north of the lakes and he’s been there but not me. I can’t wait to go back. Beautiful pictures! We will have to add Lake Como to the list. Can’t wait to see Part 2!
