PESCALLO BAY: BELLAGIO ITALY
Bellagio, Italy
Hope you all had a wonderful July 4th weekend, mine was relaxing. I’m still recovering from my trip to Italy and its hard to stop thinking of this beautiful place, so I thought I reminisce a little more to you all about second part of my post which was Bellagio, Italy. Enjoy!
Bellagio is called the pearl of the Lake Como region, it’s quite the place but in my opinion all the towns around the Lake Como region are all beautiful. We stayed in this very nice apartment in the center of the town. Everything was in walking distance so you don’t need a car. We traveled by ferry to visit the other nearby towns. One little area in this village made a true impression on me and that was Pescallo Bay, its hidden down a path of cobblestone and if you blink you can miss the path. You walk a very hilly street for a good 15 minutes all the way down to a beautiful bay!
All the houses and walls had vines growing on them!
This Italian cat was sleeping every morning when we walk down to the bay and feed the ducks!
I was telling my husband, I wish I could have these flowers in my window sill, but silly me we can’t because of the deer eat them, There are no deer in this region. People’s property is small so their gardens are in their homes, and patio’s.
I’m so glad you shared this trip, Maria. I love looking at photos of other countries that have been established a lot longer than USA. The structures are fascinating. The walkways are beautiful.
Bellagio is so pretty and quaint. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed the photos, writing the posts keeps memories alive. Hope to see you at Fabulous Friday this week, have a great week!

We were just there a few weeks ago and took a kayak trip in the bay. We actually saw a deer on the side of the cliff by the water. So they do have them:)))
Wow that’s amazing that you saw them. I will love to travel back there again some day.
I’ve so enjoyed seeing your photos of this amazing place. It’s my dream to go there some day! I’m so glad you’ve shared your photos of your trip and I hope you can go back soon too. Sweet hugs, Diane
