PESCALLO BAY: BELLAGIO ITALY

PESCALLO BAY: BELLAGIO ITALY

Bellagio, Italy

Hope you all had a wonderful July 4th weekend, mine was relaxing. I’m still recovering from my trip to Italy and its hard to stop thinking of this beautiful place, so I thought I reminisce a little more to you all about  second part of  my post which was Bellagio, Italy. Enjoy!

bellagio, italy

Bellagio is called the pearl of the Lake Como region, it’s quite the place but in my opinion all the towns around the Lake Como region are all beautiful. We stayed in this very nice apartment in the center of the town. Everything was in walking distance so you don’t need a car. We traveled by ferry to visit the other nearby towns. One little area in this village made a true impression on me and that was Pescallo Bay, its hidden down a path of cobblestone and if you blink you can miss the path. You walk a very hilly street for a good 15 minutes all the way down to a beautiful bay!

All the houses and walls had vines growing on them!

bellagio cat

This Italian cat was sleeping every morning when we walk down to the bay and feed the ducks!

I was telling my husband, I wish I could have these flowers in my window sill, but silly me we can’t because of the deer eat them, There are no deer in this region. People’s property is small so their gardens are in their homes, and patio’s.

It was hard to say Good Bye. Yes, I’m going back to a pretty place back home, but I guess I’m just a dreamer who loves beautiful faraway places that are exciting and different! I hope one day you too will visit Lake Como region and stop by Pescallo Bay, it was the gem of Bellagio.
   Ciao Bellas!
