HOW TO CHOOSE AN ECO FRIENDLY RUG

(To win a free eco-friendly rug pad of any size up to (20 ft by 20 ft)enter the rafflecopter at the end of post)

Have you ever wondered how to choose an eco-friendly rug. If you are like me and love eco-friendly products in your home than you will love this eco rug that I choose for my living space. I have used many of these natural rugs in my home for decorating and would not use anything else.

Eco Friendly rugs are made from recycled materials. One thing that I love about these rugs they are great for high traffic area. They stay fresh and beautiful for years. They are perfect for kids and pets.

I promised myself that I was planning to add more color to my decor for my new home. You can find eco-friendly rugs in all colors, but I was looking for a neutral shades such as in the beige family. So I picked a Jute natural rug that had a great neutral color, making it so easy to decorate with any decor style!

Most eco rugs work best with a rug pad under them. The jute rugs which I have chosen needs a pad because it will slide on hardwood floors or tile. In my other home I had concrete flooring and we had jute round rugs everywhere. The pad helped the rugs stay in place and it also provides more  cushion. These eco-friendly rug pad called Nature Grip  are made from natural rubber and natural plant jute, its perfect for my jute rugs. I was super excited that they were no chemical what soever in these products.

I don’t think I’ve ever owned an eco-friendly rug but am looking for one now. We had our basement done in floating laminate and it’s very cold so several rugs are needed down there.

  2. I think I had a jute rug at one time, but I noticed it shed a lot. Is that true? Have you tried any of the bamboo rugs?
