6 Nature-Inspired Laundry Room Decor Ideas

Nature Inspired Laundry Room Decor. You don’t have to have a large laundry room to make a show stopper with these 6 laundry room decor ideas.

Nature Inspired Laundry Room Decor

No matter the size of your laundry room, you can make it look amazing with the right home decor items. For my large laundry room, it initially looked empty, but I transformed it with six decor ideas that added both style and function. My laundry room is spacious enough to serve as both a mudroom and laundry room seamlessly. To bring in a nature-inspired touch, I incorporated woven baskets made of natural fibers for storage, adding an earthy texture. We designed a wooden bench which not only accommodates hats, coats, and extra storage items but also evokes a rustic, outdoorsy feel. Above the bench, I installed a cloth rack with wooden pegs and adorned the area with hanging potted plants, infusing greenery and freshness into the space. Additionally, I placed a jute rug on the floor for a cozy, organic vibe and added botanical prints on the walls to tie the nature theme together. Finally, a small indoor herb garden sits by the window, bringing in vibrant greens and a pleasant aroma. These nature-inspired elements have made the laundry room not just functional but also a serene and inviting space.

Here is The List

  1. Sofa Sete
  2. Colorful rugs
  3. Shelving with baskets
  4. Botanical Pillows
  5. Planters
  6. Decorative nature accents

1. Sofa:

Have a place to sit while doing laundry: I added a little sofa that is the main focus of this room, here is where I can relax and read a book while the clothes are drying. Or I can fold the laundry in a relax without having to stand.

2. Colorful Rugs:

To add texture and color adding a rug brings the space together.

3. Shelving

Above the cabinet I also added reclaimed wood shelves to hold soaps, towels and some decorative accents to give charm. Open shelving keeps everything accessible. The open shelving was made with plumbing pipes that were installed with screws into the wall. The Reclaimed shelves lay over the pipes.

4. Pillows

5. Planters

The final touches to my laundry room space were the decorative accents such as planters, wire basket, metal basket, and colorful rugs are all part of the theme for my laundry room space. I have been working hard stenciling pillows. Check out the stencil pillow here. This pillow will be perfect for the settee. Botanical framed prints will be placed on the shelves to give the whole laundry space a pretty charming.
