I wanted to engage in a topic that I know plague many of us, which is how to balance it all. Most of us who blog have a tons on our plates (even those who don’t blog have too much on their plates!). There is no question that I live a hectic lifestyle. The older I get, the more I crave a harmonious life… More white, sandy beaches, trips to the spa and walks in the park!
I take care of my family, pets & home, I manage the family business, I exercise, I blog, and I socialize. Makes for a crazy lifestyle! To keep it all sane while adding some harmony to my life, I live by a few rules (some new, some old), which I’ve broken down these healthy blogging tips here to share with you all!
1- Organization has not been my strong suit, but since I started blogging I’ve developed good de-clutter skills at every aspect of my life– from home, business and blog.
2- Keeping a journal. I can honestly say it’s the best way to stay focused and organized. There have been times where I started using a journal and ended up not following through with it. Those bad habits are virtually under wraps since my blog has been growing, which has increased the need for more fun home decor challenges.
4-Relaxing is something we need to take seriously. Even though I am a firm believer of the saying “don’t take things too serious,” I do get overwhelmed. Taking relaxing “me time” makes a big difference in my life.
It’s easy to burn out the first year of blogging. If you can keep everything in perspective and follow a few of these tips, plus implementing your own rules, I really think it will make a difference like it’s done for me!
