Broadway Inspired Spring Tablescape

Broadway inspired Spring Tablescape

I would like to thank Chloe from Decorate and celebrate for organizing another fabulous tablscape. This time her theme was something from Broadway. Cats was my perfect choice. Being a cat lover and saw the show years ago, I knew I could pull it off. I headed to my favorite fabric store and purchased some tiger print fabric. I used my old napkin  as a pattern and cut the  napkins out. I have a oak tree out back so I love setting up my table there. The flowers and china were all white. Added little chalk stands and wrote the names of the  cast on them.  If any one has seen the show the music is so good. My favorite is the song Memory.

Creating this tablescape has brought me memories of NYC and the show. I think will be heading to see another show soon. For more Broadway inspired tablescapes stop by and see these beautiful blogs.

Simply executed yet readily conveyed, Maria! Cats is also a favorite of mine. You’ve carried out the theme in nice, understated manner. Have a wonderful, three-day weekend.

I am fascinated by all the creative interpretations our group has come up with for this tablescape hop. Using animal print fabric is such a great idea to reference your favorite show Cats! Your setting is just beautiful in it’s simplicity!

This group has been fun, the broadway show tablescape was something that made me think outside the box.

Lovely table and those leopard napkins are calling my name. I love this table outside, so pretty and refreshing.
Cats is such a fun Broadway show. It’s been a pleasure to join you in this tablescape hop. P.S. your links are not live, therefore it makes it difficult for your readers to find our tablescapes. Happy Memorial Day weekend.

MARIA, LOVE THE LEOPARD PRINT AS NAPKINS FOR A CAT THEME. I ACTUALLY SAW BETTY BUCKLEY IN CATS IN BETTY BUCKLEY IN CATS IN DALLAS YEARS AGO. WONDERFUL SONGS AND HAUNTING STORY. YOUR OUTDOOR SETTING IS LOVELY FOR ANY OCCASION.

I love your interpretation of Cats. It’s so pretty and consistent with your style. I have actually never seen the musical which is pretty sad since I have two music degrees. lol Lovely job!
