Photographs always to me are special moments in my life.

As a mom, wife, and blogger photographs are extremely precious to me because they remind me of fun times with loved ones or cool things I stumble upon on my travels! I wanted to display some of my favorite photographs in a special way, so I decided to try glass art. This is a unique and easy way to decorate your walls in your home or your space. I love bright green plants, so I took the morning off and rode my bike to the nearby river and marsh area. Found some beautiful green plants and started clicking away.

Fracture creates this art form that’s different from traditional pictures and frames. Instead of printing on paper, it’s all done directly on glass. Once you choose a picture, it’s created into the glass, framed and mounted as a forever work of art.

There are all different sizes. I knew what area I wanted to display them in, so I chose four 7.2 x 9.6 inches to fit in it. It was a perfect size!

My Fracture packaged arrived in a protected board, which also included the hanging supplies. It was quite easy to hang. The screw does not need any anchor,  so all you do is screw it into the wall. I am totally in love with this form of art. It’s a plus that it’s affordable!

The possibilities are endless with what you can create into glass art. If you’re interested in creating a Fracture,  feel free to reach out and I can send you a download of my plant photographs! …or have some fun using your own favorite photos 🙂

  5. these are very unique and beautiful. Are they sheer or opaque? I am wondering if they would work in a window or as a suncatcher? What do you think?

    1. Thanks Paula, they are not sheer, opaque is a good term, If you put them in a window the light won’t go through them because the backing is matted. They are mostly for hanging on walls or anything you like. Your dogs on your blog are beautiful. I was thinking of doing a wall of my pets next. Let me know if you have any other questions.
